A healing center for psycho-traumatized people is to be set up in Vienna. The main idea comes from the current situation of immigration of people who have fled the war. Not only do these people suffer from psychological distress, chronic stress and trauma, other issues also lead to psychological distress and this undoubtedly reduces health. The healing center for psycho-traumatized people is primarily intended to provide ad-vice, help and support for guests. Another crucial point is that visitors should feel at home in this place, as if they were in their own home. This is the reason for choosing the title of my thesis, "Welcome home". This means there is also a housing option for people who need a temporary residence. That can be designed individually and multifunctionally. With the use of certain teachings, a special structure can be designed both from the outside and from the inside. Biophilic architecture, aesthetic appreciation through nature and anthroposophy ensure both vitality and well-being and unite body, soul and spirit. The main goal of this work is to create a space that addresses the individual psychic emotions and transforms negative feelings into new positive ones. Architecture plays a major role in the human psyche and can therefore make a difference and create moments of happiness.
