Abstract (English)

Corporate Social Responsibility is gaining more and more importance. The stakeholders of companies are demanding sustainability to be incorporated. In addition, the European Union was setting several steps to support the incorporation of CSR in European companies. According to the EU-guideline 2014/95/EU companies within specific sectors and more than 500 full time equivalents have to add their CSR reporting in their yearly financial reporting from 2017 on. These developments increase the number of CSR reports published. But a lot of companies are lacking detailed goals and action plan to reach these goals. They have not realized that their internal Facility Management can help them in this area, as the responsibilities of the FM department and of sustainability are overlapping to a large extend. This paper analyses more the 100 CSR reports to define the most common CSR goals. In a next step it compares them with the tasks defined as FM responsibilities to define the overlapping.
