The idea for building a football stadium for the Wiener Sportclub was born not only because of being passionate for the sport but as well because of the club's actual state of repair. It became clear that it was necessary to build a new stadium such as community and sports center which fulfils the needs of the team, neighbors and community on one hand and which is well integrated into the environment on the other hand. For me, it was also important to reflect the fan's open mind in the design and to keep though all advantages of a closed type of stadium. The first part of this thesis means a theoretical and analytic part. There you can find the analysis of the stadium-s influence towards the surroundings/environment and the neighborhood as well as the analysis of different types of stadiums and their effect to atmosphere. All these results serve as background for the concept. Indeed the stadium is meant as boiling pot offering best view and atmosphere to visitors during the match and space for events or -free-time-space- for the community when there is no match. The representation of planning mean site plan, ground plot, sections and photorealistic design of the stadium and the inside space.
