The demand to build up a user-friendly control system for manufacturing cells is the focus of this thesis and the related software system named ProCO (ProductionControl). The aim of this study is to create a software tool that enables us to control the activation and deactivation of the single components, while the concrecte programming of the machines is done on themselves. So the main 'job' of the tool is confined to the execution (start) and the recognition of the termination of the moduls. The tool makes no intervention at the running programs on the machines or at the information flow of the manufacturing cells. The control commands themselves are mainly done with digital input/output signals. Almost every machine supports this kind of controlling innately. The start signals can also be replaced by user defined DLL - functions, so solutions for special cases are realizable too.
The source - code of the developed software has about 6000 lines of code.
The second part of this paper is based on an exemplarian realisation that shows the usage of the tool in practice.
