The proposed thesis improvement of the walkway to the middle age Ruins in Roccamandolfi, South Italy. It is based on an international architecture competition by YAC - Young Architects Competition from November 2016. The architectural intervention is designed as a thin thread moving through the landscape, that presents amazing views and leads to the entrance of the ruin. The walkway has a length of 560 meters from the lower part of the tree to and above their tops in such a way that its disturbance of the surrounding landscape is as minimized as possible. This project aims to create a structure that combines architecture and nature and enhances the historical and scenic value of this dream location. The path connects to the castle and increases the number of viewpoints in the direction of castle, city and nature.
