The idea of a Musical Garden and an event centre developed because of the need and wish to bring all people and talented children together in one place, for them to study and communicate. The project is called „Musical garden“ and the space program is divided into two structures. The „Musical garden“ is not a usual school, it is an institution with extracurricular activities like theatre, dance, new media and a large gathering spot. The chosen place is situated between a railroad overpass and a small housing development. The missing identity of this apartment district and the closeness of the small social places around made the „Musical garden“ an identity element of the city. An important part of this project is its openness outward (space with summer stage) and a synergy between nature and architecture. The goal of my thesis is, based on a room program according to the contest information for 50 students, creating contemporary teaching rooms for musical creation. Additionally there will be a concert hall for approximately 600 people, which can be used independently and be adjusted depending on the room acoustic conditions.
