Abstract:
The concept of control structure and scheduling strategies of bionic self-organising complex flexible assembly system in computer integrated production environment is given. The self-organizing systems have very strong tendency to act autonomously, this characteristic is positive one from the point of robustness of functionality and efficiency of system. From other side the bionic assembly system is part of larger computer integrated production structure (factory, concern) and has to follow the aims which are coming out from this subordination.<br />The functional interface between assembly system and production environment is based on priority structures and queues of orders and activities. The concept includes multi agent concept and distributed intelligence with vertical and horizontal communication between the subsystems. This approach give the possibility to design the task oriented scheduling of system and reach two main aims: functionality and high efficiency of system. The vertical (assembly stations - central control system) realising the function and aims at the level of integrated system. The horizontal communication / intelligence (assembly stations - transport mobile robots) realize self-organising functions at level of one single assembly operation. The system has integrated variable transport system based on lineless mobile robots and mobile assembly stations.
