Ever since I was a little child, I had this special relation with nature. Every park and backyard reminds me of my childhood, which I spent in country. First visit to Waldmüllerpark with professor dr. phil. Eva Berger was very meaningful, it helped me choose this master thesis. This park evokes special feelings and emotions. After my first visit to this park, I was very curious and wanted to find out more about it, and it also made me think that I could make a tour through it's past. This thesis concerns historical development of Waldmüllerpark, which is located in 10th district Favoriten in Vienna. primary focus of this research will be on the history of horticulture art, it's changes throughout years and centuries, relations, planning and most important events that influenced it's changes. This thesis also considers problem of adapting, both people and environment, to the constant changes. Relations between people and horticulture art, influence people have on environment, influence environment has on our behavior and demands will also be a part of this research as a main motive for changes and adapting.
