The Islamic Republic of Iran is among the countries that severely restrict access to the Internet and censure the content. This means that a large number of websites are not accessible from Iran. The free access to information and the exchange of information, particularly in times of social media, is important for the younger generation. According to the latest statistics, Iran has about 81 million inhabitants, of which about 60% are under 30 years of age. It has been shown that Twitter, Facebook and YouTube are platforms that play an important role in today's everyday life. Such websites are important in times of unrest to transmit information and events to the outside; And it is precisely from this that the regime's motivation for censorship is derived. The problem is, however, how do you get access to such sites, even though these are locked? What are the methods that make it possible for Iranian people to get information? How can information and freedom of expression be conveyed there anyway? This work will provide answers to these questions and explain how users can get information despite censorship.
