The topic of this master thesis, entitled, the "Bauhaus Campus Weimar" is the extension of the Bauhaus University in Weimar. The existing university campus is to be expanded at the adjacent to university campus existing main site by means of targeted structural measures, - including the demolition of existing buildings and the construction of new buildings ones. This should fit into the historical city context and qualitatively enhance the parts that are listed as heritage and its surroundings. The main focus of this work is on the design and therefore, the design is extensively edited and presented, but of course it also addresses other aspects that contribute to the completeness of this work. At the beginning, the Bauhaus is treated as an architectural case. Since a lot has already been written about the Bauhaus with all its history and work, it will be mentioned on this thesis as well but briefly. Then, campus as a term will be studied. The term and the origin are explained, as well as the use of it in the present time. Some worldwide examples are presented as well. In addition, the city of Weimar is analyzed. The city itself, the current location of the buildings of the Bauhaus University within the city, as well as the location center are studied and presented step by step. The location center will be examined more deeply, both the existing buildings and the surrounding area will be studied and described through corresponding plans and photos. In the further process, the design is presented. For that, the concept will be explained and presented at the beginning of the design. The plan supplement shows all the relevant plans of the design. Through various plans, the project is presented in great detail. In order to better ilustrate the design images will appear at the end of the thesis.
