The Cultural Center "Hasan Prishtina" was built by the Yugoslav army after the Second World War for military purposes. 1970 leaves the army Vushtrri and the building goes to the local government. The result is a cultural center with a cinema and public library. During the Kosovo War in 1998-1999, the building is badly damaged and remains to this day almost unused. Today only work the library and some offices. The renovation and restoration of the building is unavoidable, because the building has many problem areas, such as damage to the foundations and the facade, moisture on exterior walls and ceilings, the main entrances are disabled, there is no elevator, no wardrobe, no restaurant, not enough parking and it is not wheelchair accessible.
