This work tries to create something new at a place abandoned by the locals, using the bobsleigh track on the Trebević – in Sarajevo - as the main access way. The main criterion of this work is to design a dynamic structure, which itself is very critical of the existing postmodern buildings. As a result of a geometry study as well as analysis of triple minimum surfaces, the developed building form resambles the structure of the gyroid and records the movement of a bobsleigh track through its formal dynamics. The building allows a pleasant gathering of all nationalities. The chosen building shape as the location in combination with the existing bobsleigh track make the building a monumental eyecatcher. The structure is part of ist surroundings, it grows out of the terrain and offers a wide view over the mountain of Trebević. Based on this geometric shape of the spatial structure, the visitor is guided unconsciously through the inner structure. The whole structure creates an unique identity. The Bobarch Olympics is not only a museum, but also an educational institution accessible to all. It also offers exhibition areas and lecture halls to its visitors. It is addressed to anyone who seeks a place to learn what interests them without being influenced by nationalistic prejudices.
