In 2015 approximately 4.370 pre-fabricated single family houses were built in Austria. Thereof 2.443 houses can be allocated to the Austrian Association of Prefabricated Housing, which represents a share of 57,8%.a The company GRIFFNER Fertighaus GmbH is a member of the Austrian Association and produced approximaltey 80 buildings in 2015.b In the course of this master thesis parts of the structure of a prefabricated house have been analyzed in collaboration with GRIFFNER. As a first step, investigations are carried out on the basis of different structural modelling schemes to find a simple, time-saving and lifelike approach for the later modelling of ceiling and wall panels. Secondly, the applicability of the developed approach should be demonstrated by implementing the obtained knowledge on parts of the real 3D-structure of GRIFFNER. Moreover, certain effects are shown when neglecting several parameters. With the help of a three-dimensional input of modelling data a lifelike transfer of loads to the foundation, caused by forces acting on the building, could be enabled. Further, many transactions, which have to be carried out by hand when using a two-dimensional input format, are automatically included in the 3Dstructure. As an example, effects caused by changes in the load (or in the building structure) could be immediately determined for all building components in a mechanical way.
