Subject of the thesis is the farm Graggabergut, which is located in the municipality of Unternberg in the district of Tamsweg, a region in Lungau. The building is a so-called 'Paarhof' with a dwelling house and a stable building. The today`s farm was reconstructed in 1835, after the previous building was destroyed in a fire. The Graggabergut has great importance concerning handcraft and history of architecture, because an example of regional building tradition from the 19th century has been preserved largely. The work will include an inventory and a historical investigation of the farm. The surveying and appraisal of the Graggabergut will be an as important part to the thesis as the research of farmhouse architecture. These informations should serve as a basis for a concept of the restructuring and reuse of the building, which has not been inhabited and farmed for many years, to preserve it. A draft shall demonstrate a utilization concept of the Graggabergut and how it could be revitalized.
