This diploma-thesis deals with a latent heat storage system using polymers. In the beginning, the relevant physical concepts are discussed. Using the software Dymola and Fluent, the discharging behavior of a storage system mis investigated and several simulated storage concepts are being presented. The next chapter focuses on the thermo physical properties of the material used. Afterwards, the experimental setup as well as the final prototype is presented. Lastly, the operation of the setup is described as well as the results of two measurements and their evaluation.
