The emphasis of this structuralistic urban secondary school design in Berlin's district Kreuzberg is on the formation of outter terraces. These terraces are mainly functioning as a campus space, however they can be seen as multifunctional elements. On the one hand they are simple terraces, on the other hand they are serving as a infrastructural connection between different areas and they are offering a great way of natural lighting- skylight. The space program is conducted by flexibility and circulation, an essential precondition for the inclusion. Flexibility and variability through versatile lamallae are also an important aspect of the facade.
