The master thesis critically assesses the deployment of a remediation project, a historical and for Austria representative building, the Austrian Parliament. The remediation project started 2010. The overall concept was presented in February 2011. It is the basis of the constructional decision and the preliminary design. Since September 2010 the author is integrated in the process and can make some statements to the quality of implementation. The aim of the master thesis is, with the help of selected project management methods, to consider, analyze and evaluate the main process. In detail there will be the stakeholder analysis, roles and responsibilities of a team, risk-analysis and SWOT-analysis applied. The author created, with the help of determining its status and the project management methods, an ideal process. The process shows, how the project "remediation of the Austrian Parliament" might has been started and points out potential for improvements.
