Die Diplomarbeit von Bernhard Parzer präsentiert den Entwurf eines Konzerthauses im 22. Wiener Gemeindebezirk auf der Donauplatte. Gegenstand des Entwurfes ist die Neuerrichtung eines Gebäudekomplexes für musikalische Veranstaltungen im Innen - und Außenbereich, von Klassik bis Rock. Flexibilität und Nachhaltigkeit sind dabei das Maß aller Dinge, um über das Nutzungskonzept hinaus einen Mehrwert für den gewählten Standort zu generieren und für die kommenden Jahrzehnte einen wahren Publikumsmagnet für Touristen und Einheimische zu schaffen. Das zu bebauende Gebiet liegt an der nördlichen Kante des Donauufers und bildet somit den städtebaulichen Abschluss dieses Areals. Die Vienna Donaucity als urbanes Zentrum mit hohem funktional- architektonischem Anspruch und zukunftsweisenden Wohn- und Bürobauten und Forschungsstätten braucht für diesen Standort eine Lösung für Kultur und Kommunikation. Dieser neu entwickelte Entwurf wertet den Standort städtebaulich auf und stellt ein ökonomisch sowie ökologisch nachhaltiges Gesamtkonzept dar.

Bernhard Parzers thesis is representing the drat of a concert hall in the 22nd district of Vienna at the danubioplate. The main theme of the drat is based on the new construction of a building complex for indoor and outdoor concerts for various music genres ranging from classic to rock. Flexibility and sustainability are highly valued, even essential. Therefore, this building has an even higher importance for the city which will be more attractive and generate more tourism. The building location is on the north edge of the danubio river creating a natural border for the area. Viennas Donaucity is an urban center with a high expectation of architectural functionality for pioneering complexes like ofices, residential buildings and research centers. Therefore it's necessary to have a location which provides a solution for culture and communication. This new developed drat gives credits to this location and presents an economical and ecologic sustainable concept.
