Abstract:

The increasingly stricter building physics requirements to the constructions make it very difficult to estimate the operating limits of typical components, especially towards 2020 and beyond, in order to be able to adapt them in time for future requirements. As it is therefore becoming increasingly difficult to determine the actual performance of brick and concrete wall systems in a direct comparison, two real and very representative houses were deliberately chosen for these investigations. In this work the very theoretical provisions according to the OIB Richtlinie 6 [OIB6] and the corresponding National Plan [NATPL] are being implemented as practically as possible and therefore the comparisons can be shown very clearly. Within the scope of this diploma thesis, six different wall systems were used for comparison, with the aim of showing as concrete and meaningful possible applications as possible. A wide variety of brick constructions, reinforced concrete walls and an aerated concrete wall were compared in terms of building physics as well as energetically and finally evaluated economically. All comparisons were carried out on two real buildings, one family house and one multi-family house, by simulating and documenting the building physics and economic performance of the systems. In this work, heat protection was evaluated first by calculating the heating requirements and the U-values of the walls with the building geometry taken into account, as well as an outlook on the future performance up to 2020, according to the National Plan. In the case of sound insulation, the insulation effect of the constructions to the outside as well as the performance as a partition in the MFH according to [ÖNORM 8115-2] and the resulting scope in possible different window dimensions were precisely determined and shown. In addition, the topic of summer overheating was treated and the quality classes resulting from the superstructures of summer overheating were calculated according to [ÖNORM B 8110-3]. All possibilities of sun protection on the windows have been reviewed, evaluated and clearly presented. All variants were lastly compared with the subsequently calculated costs of the constructions and the economic effectiveness of the individual wall systems was explained.
