The growing house The entire space occupied by nature is truly charged emotionally. The forests, meadows and mountains glimmer in a special aura which is barely noticeable in the projects of our everyday lives. Here in nature, everything is done so quietly, so slowly, so apparently perfect - you can hardly grasp how nature works. It is the completion of a self-organization which is difficult for humans to achieve. Nature is way older than humanity itself - for us it`s familiar and yet at the same time, so unexplored. We as humans are able to invent and discover great things but we are unable to handle the consequences. This project is not trying to be -The answer- to our contemporary issues such as the production of plastics, recycling or global warming. It is an alternative way. A possibility, which is ironically so easy but at the same time so unexplored, even unfamiliar. I will lead you through my master thesis where I ask myself the question - how it is to live in and with nature? What would a natural, living dwelling look like? How would this work out? Above all, what feelings are to be dealt with by the consumer to his living house? This emotional context, this awareness of the matter is the essence of the project to me. My concept centers around growing architecture where human beings only have limited intervention, but through targeted processes. In other words, Artwork should not be provided, where the audience is amazed about the pompous shapes and forms that force the material to the utmost. On one hand, this approach makes the concept a lot more conclusive, at the same time this architecturally sparing methodology supports the brilliant rules that dictate the nature. How exactly this happens, you will find out in this publication. After a brief introduction to the vision of vital housing, the medium of building matter will be analyzed and examined in the laboratory. I am targeting the simplicity of nature. Everything in nature happens by itself; it grows, lives and continues to spread. We are only a conductor in this production. Thus changes the role of the architects, Hannes Meyer greets on that one. The crucial factor that you can imagine by yourself is time. I`ll try to bring this time phenomenon as close to architecture as it gets, basing it on existing projects by gardeners and herbalists. What are the benefits of construction periods of several years compared to the disadvantages? All experiences and rules of construction tiles into the project - a utopian pavilion-like plant will be cultivated. The project will include enclosed sleeping and sanitary units as well as meeting areas and outlook platforms. I will attempt to resolve the crux of the concept by offering a range of attractive and spatially diverse possibilities. This design, which is the result of my education will continue to grow and be shaped as the result of my project. This project is alive and continues to grow. A conventional construction phase ending and takeover from the investor will not happen that way.
