The present work focuses on the development of a lightweight membrane billboard tower as an alternative to the existing outdoor advertising means, an alternative which integrates into the general architecture of a city and enriches the urban aesthetics. In order to underline its utility for the community and draw a comprehensive image of this project, the author has chosen an approach which takes into account several perspectives and has analyzed the project as a result of these perspectives. To this end, the project has been located on a time axis and on a historical background. Further on, the author has placed the lightweight membrane billboard tower in an existing location, the characteristics of which have determined the form, the building solution as well as the possibilities which arise from these. Last but not least, since every project needs financing, an outlook of the possibilities that could be taken into account by a possible investor is given.
