During this master theses, the realization of a bridge for animals with a new formwork technology was analysed.
With the help of a pneumatic formwork and tendons, the concrete was brought in his crooked shape. This variant with pneumatic formwork and tendons is much more easier to handle, than conventional formwork technology. A 12 cm thick shell construction was designed and analyzed.
It was analysed if the construction would endure the erection-process and afterwards could carry the coverage with a second concrete layer.
This process was simulated with the programe ATENA. ATENA simulates the processes in real time, meaning it uses non-linear theory II order, hence the best for the task ahead. Antecedent to ATENA calculations, the shell construction was analysed in 3D with RFEM.
