dc.description.abstract
Ziel dieser Arbeit ist ein Entwurfsprojekt, das an den Bestand des Gutes Guggenthal angepasst ist. Bei der Neu- und Umgestaltung dieses kulturellen, historischen Ensembles sollen städtebauliche, architektonische und landschaftsplanerische Fragen beantwortet werden, die an realistische, nachhaltige und ästhetische Entwicklungspotenziale gekoppelt sind. Durch behutsames, aber auch entschlossenes Eingreifen soll die bestehende Bausubstanz verbessert, weiterentwickelt, aber vor allem reaktiviert werden. Dadurch tritt im Entwurf Historisches schlussendlich mit Zeitgenössischem in Dialog. Durch historische und räumliche Analyse, mit Einbeziehung bisheriger Revitalisierungsversuche, soll ein zeitgemäßes und realistisches Nutzungskonzept und Raumprogramm gefunden werden, wobei der architektonische Ausdruck die Hauptaufgabe bleiben soll. Begehungen, vorhandenes Planmaterial und Archivaushebungen, sowie Gespräche mit verschiedenen Akteuren trugen zu Entscheidungsfindungsprozessen bei. Als Resultat ist eine Diplomarbeit entstanden, welche vorangegangene Analysen, generelle Informationsaufbereitungen, den Ideenfindungs- und Entwurfsprozess sowie die detaillierte Ausarbeitung des Projekts textlich und grafisch beschreibt.

dc.description.abstract
The aim of this work is a design project, which is adapted to the exisiting Gut Guggenthal. With the reuse and redefinition of the historic ensemble, questions of urbansim, architecture and landscape design should be raised combined to the realistic, sustainable and aesthetic development potentials. Through a gentle but pragmatic intervention, exisiting architecture should be redefind, reactivated and further developed. Through-out this, the exisiting should get into a correspondence with the newly added. Through historic and spatial analysis including try outs of earlier refurbishments contemporary and realistic, usable concept should be found where architectural expression stay in a key role of design. Visits, exisiting materials and archive research as well as talks with different interessted people helped to contribute to the process. As a result of this, the diploma-work describes former analysis, its display, the process of idea finding and design and nonetheless the detailed elaboration in text and image of this revitalisation.
